Payouts

Every payment you take is credited to your Stack balance, net of fees. A payout moves money from that balance to your bank account. Payouts only happen when you ask: nothing is paid out on a schedule.

Your payout account

You add your bank account when you create your project. Stack checks the account name with the bank before saving it. Change it under Settlement in the dashboard.

Request a payout

In the dashboard under Payouts, choose Pay out now. Pay out your whole balance, or enter an amount.

• Whole balance: at least ₦10. A set amount: anything up to your balance.
• Transfer fee: Stack pays it. The full amount arrives.
• Timing: usually within minutes.

A payout starts as processing and becomes paid when the bank confirms it. If the bank refuses the transfer, the payout is failed and the money goes back to your balance. Every payout is listed under Payouts.

What’s in your balance

The dashboard shows two numbers:

• Balance: what you can pay out or use for refunds right now.
• Total earnings: everything you’ve been credited for payments, after fees and refunds. Payouts don’t reduce it.

In test mode a payout is paid straight away, without a real transfer.
